Hand formed Serving Bowl by Takuma Murakoshi.  Green undertones from the Shigaraki kiln with grey and slate glaze.

Created using only mountain soil from Shigaraki mixed with natural ash, then fired for many hours in high heat. The products just out of the kiln are only half complete. After being used by the artist for some years on a daily basis, they gain maturity and patina. Using the pieces daily make them almost a part of the owner's body, and complete.
