MARK MUELLER, SKY CHART

Marks work finds Lyrical moments captured in a mix of printmaking, drawing and painting techniques. At once architectural, then hieroglyphic and abstract, his bold compositions evoke urban ruins where nature supplants the static and returns vivid life to the composition. With an electric stillness, recognizable yet distant and alarming, the motifs suggest a cartographer’s fragmented renderings layered and brought to life on the canvas.

I have been drawn to Mark’s work for decades. The time was right for the opportunity to share Mark’s unique vision in a full Housewright Gallery exhibition.
