"I have developed a hybrid painting process that mixes drawing, printmaking and painting techniques. Unique to my painting is a process of drawing with lead strips to create a relief from which I can make a graphite rubbing on paper. This paper is then mounted to panel or canvas, sealed and then painted with acrylic tones and oil color. Ceramics and glass have become opportunities to extend the same imagery as my paintings into cylindrical and relief forms.     My imagery, both symbolic and abstract, has a distinct style of graphic lines, expressive textures and compositional strategies."
